This week’s Bones is about a 911 related case…
Some characters were talking about what they were doing that day. Here’s my story:
I was 12, well 13 later that same month. I wasn’t in school for whatever reason. I think we might have had the day off, either that or school was already over for the day (time-zones and all that). I was with my mom flicking between channels on the TV trying to find something to watch. Let’s just say that when we got to CNN we didn’t change channels again that day. When I started watching the coverage on CNN, only the first tower had been hit. I saw the rest of the events live from a country a whole ocean away, but I still felt it. It definitely changed me. As a 12-year-old watching that happen on live television, even I realized that the world was about to change and that no one would ever forget that moment or what they were doing when they found out.
Never forget.
