Nona is the owner of Tv by Nona and TvSerier.com (amongst other sites). Her interest and "obsession" for TV shows goes back to when she was just a young girl (not that's she's not young still) spending rainy summer days watching Little House on the Prairie or DOOL. Some of her all-time favorites include; Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Charmed, Angel, the X-Files and Doogie Howser, M.D. Current favorites are: Bones, Fringe, the Mentalist, How I Met Your Mother, Modern Family, Glee, Desperate Housewives, How I Met Your Mother, Castle, the Simpsons and Family Guy.

Here we go. Another season of American Idol. Season 9 to be exact. I won’t be doing as many screens as I used to, and I probably won’t get them up as fast, but I will write something about each show and I will get some screens up for each one as well. The reviews this year will be more like my Bones and Fringe reviews than the American Idol reviews from last year. Why? Because #WeMissPaula!

American Idol won a total of 4 Emmy awards this year. Unfortunately the other shows we cover/have covered on the site were as lucky. To tell the truth, the Emmy’s that American Idol won were not even the ones they deserved the most. Below is my (Nona’s) Twitter feed from the Emmy night. Paula Abdul recently announced on Twitter that she will not be returning to Idol next year. She’s been trying to work out a deal with FOX and the producers of the show, but as of last night she has given up the fight.

“With sadness in my heart, I’ve decided not to return to Idol. I’ll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all being a part of a show that I helped from day1 become an international phenomenon. What I want to say most, is how much I appreciate the undying support and enormous love that you have showered upon me. It truly has been breathtaking, especially over the past month. I do without any doubt have the BEST fans in the entire world and I love you all!”

It’s official, Kara’s staying. Paula doesn’t have a contract, but it’s still not time to start worrying. E!online UK writes: Guessing which of the judges will be back on American Idol next season has become a popular game.
