Emmy Nominations

On July 8, 2010, in Tv World, by Nona

The Emmy nominations are in and we’re both exited and dissapointed. Once again Bones has been overlooked. Fringe only got one nomination. The Mentalist didn’t get any. Glee, Neil Patrick Harris and Modern Family seem to be the big “winners” out of our favorites. Neil has two individual performance nominations: one as supporting actor in a comedy (along with 4 other amazing (!) actors and one John Cryer *sigh*) as Barney Stinson, and one as a guest actor in a comedy series for his role as Bryan Ryan in Glee (YAAAY!). Flowing are the major categories and the ones of interest for this site (Tv By Nona’s favorites in each category in bold). A link to the full list of nominations can be found at the bottom of the post.

Simon [about Paula]: It’s great to have this little one back.
I couldn’t agree more! The American Idol finale was great. Funny bits about Simon, Blake back on the stage, Michael Johns back on the stage, the right person won, but most importantly: Paula came back to give us some awesome Saula. Following are 63 awesome Saula screens from last night. Enjoy!

Hi all. As you probably have noticed, I have’t made any posts about the past week’s Idol shows. I have decided to quit reviewing Idol (I might still do shows like Idol Gives Back and the Final). This decision was made due to the fact that I: A) Don’t really like the show anymore (it has become boring without Paula) and B) Want to have time to review Glee once the show comes back on the air. That’s right y’all. Tv By Nona will now be reviewing Glee! Everybody do your happy-dance. ;) lol. Now, What the hell has any of this got to do with Neil Patrick Harris? Well, as most major NPH fans and/or Glee fans know, he will be on a Glee episode later this spring. Below is an interview from the Governors’ Ball where he talks about both his opening performance at the Oscar’s and his upcoming performance on Glee. BTW, I’ve also included the opening number from the Oscar’s under the interview. Enjoy!

Since I knew that I wasn’t going to be able to post this until today, I decide too make one post for both shows this week. This post includes some of my reactions to the last performances during Hollywood week, as well as comments on the top 24. There’s a list of the top 12 girls, a list of the top 12 boys, and my own favorites out of these.

Hollywood Week, day 2 (including screens)

On February 13, 2010, in American Idol, by Nona

Dear Group day, when will you stop being so mean to the contestants? They can’t help that they suck and are horrible at communicating with others. Give them a break! … Eh, NVM ;)

Ellen is finally on the show. I say finally because we should be able to get better shows then the audition episodes now. However, I’m pretty sure it won’t be close to as good as the old, original, American Idol. It’s a new show this year. Let see if it’s worth watching…

So, I’m guessing this is the “Best and Worst” episode and that there will be a mix of guest judges this episode. Hope we get something new with NPH!
