Hollywood Week, day one (including screens)

Ellen is finally on the show. I say finally because we should be able to get better shows then the audition episodes now. However, I’m pretty sure it won’t be close to as good as the old, original, American Idol. It’s a new show this year. Let see if it’s worth watching…

What’s with Miss Cranky to the right of Ryan? (The girl next to the bug dude.)

Aw, cute! Rallen? Rellen? Eyan? Ehhh… Help me out here. lol.

Ellen[to Ryan after a long question he just asked her]: I’m sorry, I wasn’t listening.
lol. Yeah, Ellen is definitely going to bring some humor back to the show. She’s not replacing Paula, Kara is, but it’s still going to be weird having her next to Simon, and having her telling him he’s being a jerk (in her way..), instead of Paula.

Ellen: So this is it, huh? I come on, you leave.
Simon: LOL!
lmao! So true. Though, it’s more like: Paula leaves, you leave.

This is going to be a problem. Ellen makes so many jokes in one comment that I’m never going to be able to write it all down. lol. The skii-bo-ski, or whatever his name is, comments were hilarious.

Ryan: …plus, some of the most amazing performances in Hollywood Week history.
I doubt anything can beat Michael John’s version of Bohemian Rhapsody. <3

OMG! Ellen is as brutally honest as Simon. Well, at least Simon’s having fun again. LOL.

OMFG! He’s going to sing Straight Up y’all! Paula will NEVER really leave this show. <3
OK, so Simon stopped him. I’m not expecting to hear anything bad though. He did a great version of it.

Kara: Paula would be screaming and yelling and clapping and dancing.
Does anyone else miss her “TUTCHDOWN”’s from the earlier seasons? Ellen’s version of a Paula-clap reminded me of them.

BTW, what the h*** happened to the Coke glasses? WTF?

Wow, loosing a lot of the people we actually got introduced to during the auditions. Weird.

Oh, Miss Cranky was the girl with the daughter that Simon liked. That was a cute moment. Very nice voice, but I don’t get why she (the mom/contestant) has to look so cranky.

What the h*** was Ellen doing to those poor contestants? LMAO. “You step back, you step forward, no I’m sorry you step back, you step back, you step forward, you step back, you step forward, you step a little to your left, you step forward then step back a little bit, you’re all going through”. Simon was cracking up, Kara and Randy look confused and “serious”. lol.

Love how they’re sneaking in clips of Ford’s new cars every now and then.

This Justin-dude probably has a great recording-voice. I have to say I was surprised he didn’t make it.

I love how surprised Kara was that Simon actually liked the song. After her complete FAIL with last year’s winners song (that we all know Simon did NOT like), I’m not that surprised by her reaction.
