Van Pelt and Rigsby are so cute together!

Poor extra sitting naked on a marble floor with just a bouquet of roses over his “special place”.

Oh no, not my little Bosco! Why? Why? I liked him! Again, why? Not Bosco!

This episode is great! Cho getting all angry, it was very thrilling!

Jane is really not good in emergency situations, he just froze up when they found Bosco and his men!

What is Jane doing with the flower guy, his friend/nemesis just almost died!

Oh, it was Red John, how did Jane know that? He is really in touch with his yin… his intuition. Creepy with the classical music playing in the room where the body of the dead agent was.

Love Minelli, Churchill has nothing on him when it comes to memorable speeches, smash the system Minelli!:
Reporter: Special Agent Minelli, our condolences. Would you describe your feelings at this terrible time?
Minelli: Wow Meredith that, you media guys, that’s just… You know for eight years I have put up with the idiotic questions of the media and I have never said squat. But today, I must tell you Meredith you really set a new standard in horses assery. You people have no concept of what we do. We go into dark, horrible places alone and afraid. And we do it with no money, broken down vehicles, computers that has more viruses then a ten dollar whore. How? Good people. And I lost three good people today and a fourth who is in critical condition and you ask me how I’m feeling. I’m feeling sad, you moron. Any other questions?

Love the expression on the camera man’s face!

Jane unhooks the morphine? I agree with Lisbon, Jane is a cold bastard!

Red John is darn smart, he seemed to have really covered all of his bases! Clever serial killer…

I knew there was something wrong with that secretary! One, why did she just pop up out of nowhere? And secondly, she was really too good at acting for someone in only a few scenes, she was just a little bit to good.

Lisbon is so sad in this episode, poor woman.

Beautiful:
Lisbon: You lost a lot of blood, the doctors don’t think you are going to make it.
Bosco: I am going to say it then. The doctor’s better be right. I love you Theresa.
Lisbon: I love you too.
Bosco: No I mean, I love you.
Lisbon: I know what you mean.

A part of the interview between Jane and Red John’s girlfriend Rebecca:
Jane: What’s your favorite kind of music?
Rebecca: Mr. Jane, please. I know your games, you don’t care what type of music I like.
Jane: I’m just making conversation, getting to know you.
Rebecca: You want to know how I could do such terrible things for Red John.
Jane: Oh I know that stuff. Unhappy childhood, sexually abused by a close relative, cutting or some other self-abuse. Self-medicating, self-loathing, bla bla bla. Everyone you ever met made you feel ashamed. Ashamed of that ugly darkness festering inside you. But he didn’t, he made you strong, he made you feel proud of that darkness.
Rebecca: Yes he did.
Jane: He gave your life purpose and meaning and love.
Rebecca: You’re very much like him you know, the way you look at people and see right through them, that is spooky.
Jane: I want you to think of this tonight before you go to sleep: You’re nothing to him but an useful object. He is not a good man.
Rebecca: You are so wrong, he is a very good man. He’s on a mission of love and enlightenment.
Jane: He tortures and kills women.
Rebecca: Don’t you see; without death there is no life. Without darkness there is no light. Look at you.
Jane: Me?
Rebecca: Well until your wife and your daughter were killed you were blind weren’t you? You were living an illusion, but Red John opened your eyes and now you see the world for what it truly is.
Jane: Oh. How did you first meet him?
Rebecca: I’m not telling you anything about him.
Jane: You will. You’ll wake up one day horrified of what you have done and you will tell me everything.
Rebecca: No, never. I love Red John and he loves me and I will never betray that trust.
Jane: One day.

Wow, Red John was in the building! He killed the Rebecca woman!

Bosco on his death bed talking to Jane about Red John:
Bosco: Do me a favor, when you catch him, don’t arrest him, kill the son of a bitch.
Jane: That’s the plan.
Bosco: Good.

And three seconds later Bosco dies, why did they kill off the new character that brought excitement to The Mentalist? This is really not a good move that the show made. And then three seconds after Bosco is gone, Minelli decides to retire. What did I miss, is The Mentalist being cancelled? Where is the logic in all of this?

It was such a touching moment at the end of the episode where the team is drinking in honor of Bosco, all interrupted by ridiculous singing. I have this theory that the only reason you sing hymns in funerals is to lighten up the mood, because it sounds so funny, think about that the next time someone is being buried!

Nona said,
Funny thing is, the ratings are better than ever. :-S If the show is in danger of being canceled, it sure isn’t something that anyone is talking about atm.
LOL @ the comments about the “ridiculous singing”.
Personally, I loved this episode, even though they killed off a great character. Though, right after I’d finished watching it, I was just sitting there with my mouth wide open and with a “WTF?!” expression on my face. lol.
