Scary beginning!

They are teaming up on a case? This should be hilarious! I think Minelli made the right decision, it could be a great thing they working together.

Bosco: They’re Jane’s people, they need watching.
Lisbon: I like to think of them as my people.
Bosco: Well think what you like. I can’t have them trying to pull some cheap stunt behind my back.
Jane: Well, we have the whole range of expensive stunts if you don’t like the cheap ones.

Jane being inappropriate as usual, he didn’t pull away just because Bosco is there.

A conversation after Jane pointed out the drug use in the family:
Bosco: Lisbon, you claim to have control over this wackjob? Why don’t you do me a favor and walk him away.
Lisbon: Don’t talk to me in that way!
Jane: Yeah that’s very rude…
Lisbon: Hey, quiet! Look, Minelli gave us specific orders.
Bosco: I don’t give a flying…
The husband: Hey, hey, are you this agent’s boss?
Bosco: Why?
The husband: I want him removed from this case now. Now! Alright. He’s disrespectful and rude. And, and unprofessional.
Jane: Oh, he’s just angry cause I called him on his little drug deal thing.
The husband: You’re nuts, I have no drugs.
Jane: Liar.
The husband: I demand you take this man off the case or there will be serious consequences.
Bosco: Well Sir, that’s not your call.
The husband: Oh yeah, you think? One phone call and I can have you directing traffic.
Bosco: Is that right?
The husband: Yeah, it is.
Bosco: Well make your call because this man is staying on the case whether you like it or not.
The husband: Really?
Bosco: Yeah.
The husband: Do you see this; do you see what he has done to my wife? This guy is out of control.
The wife: Shut up Duncan.
The husband: Baby I was trying to explain…
The wife: Shut up! Mr. Jane is it?
Jane: Jepp.
The wife: What you said earlier was right. Thank you, I guess. [To the husband] Leave him alone.
Lisbon: Okay, that’s settled. Have fun boys!

Rigsby has just found out people call him Bert and he wonders why:
Cho: It’s Bert like the Muppet.
Van Pelt: It’s just a stupid nickname. It doesn’t mean anything.
Cho: Bosco’s team calls us Bert and Ernie.
Rigsby: You knew that and you didn’t say anything?
Cho: It would bother you.
Rigsby: It doesn’t bother you?
Cho: No, Ernie is the clever, handsome one.

Love the wear a vest “fight” between Van Pelt and Rigsby.

Such a beautiful baby! Naaw… she is so cute! And Jane is really good with her!

Funny when Bosco and Jane talked to the gang member.
The gang member: [to Bosco] Now you gotta punch me in the face! There might be people watching.
Jane: Yeah, they’re watching!

Jane and Bosco are really funny together, they are so different!

Van Pelt got shot, that was so unexpected! I almost got tears in my eyes! Oh it was so scary, so sad! Not Van Pelt! The shase scene following was great! The camerawork was excellent! It was really thrilling and scary. They should wear vests, macho men….

Rigsby sneaked into the ambulance where Van Pelt is lying:
Rigsby: I love you.
Van Pelt: Thanx.
Rigsby: I have to go; they don’t even know I’m here. I’ll call you later.
Van Pelt: Wayne? One thing… [Van Pelt slaps Rigsby in the face]
Rigsby: What was that for?
Van Pelt: Next time: Wear your vest.
Rigsby: Okay.
Van Pelt: I mean it!
Rigsby: Yeah, I believe you.

This is intense:
Bosco: We’ll run a background check on everybody who has been inside that house for the past six months.
Jane: You’re not gonna catch anyone with a background check. They have planned too carefully for that.
Bosco: And you do know how to catch them?
Jane: Of course, I told you I did.
Bosco: Forget it!
Lisbon: You’re not even gonna hear him out?
Bosco: No, he’s got nothing to tell me.
Lisbon: You know what, Jane’s not the problem, you are! You’re so stuck on the idea that he is not a cop that you can’t see what he is. You know how many cases he has closed for us? You think he is giving me bad habits, I think he has made me a better cop!
Jane: Thank you Lisbon… can I just…
Lisbon: Quiet!
Jane: Okay.
Bosco: If you’re so sure you’re right, you won’t even listen to him, then you’re not a person I know!

Good stunt, Bosco is in on it as well, good for him!
Nice episode! I love that Bosco is on the Mentalist! The show is much better this season! Much, much better! And can I detect the beginning of a small romance between Bosco and Lisbon?
