This is a Saula packed review (how could it not be since it’s Motown week aka. Saula songs week), however, as always, I’ll start with a few comments about each contestant.

Ok, so, yay for Matt leaving the piano. I think I would have fallen asleep during his performance if he hadn’t. Good song choice, but we’ll see where it takes him. He won’t be a front runner long if he does too many songs in that tempo or behind the piano, no matter how good the song is or how perfect it is for his voice.

Kris was cool. I think he deserves to stay a few more weeks. Good song choice for him. Glad the guitar playing actually fit the song this time. Last time he brought out the guitar it was all really weird. :P

Someone’s listening to the wrong person. It’s great that Scott wants to be himself, but he can still sing his songs without the piano. I’m getting so bored with him. This song was a good one to have the piano to though. Couldn’t really imagine him doing it without the piano, without it looking kinda uncomfortable. However, if he’s still around next week, he should pick a song that he can do great without the piano. Considering what he said before hi performance, I doubt he will though. I do have to say this: I really don’t think he sag good tonight. Definitely not compared to a lot of the other contestants. The piano is actually going to be the thing that forces him to leave the competition. When all you can think about during his performance is that he plays the piano a lot better then he sings, he aint gonna get your vote.
Scott: And you gotta vote for the Pink pants!
..
Ryan: How do you know they’re pink?
Scott: They told me. They didn’t tell me until ten minutes before, so my apologies.

LOL.

Megan just has to go this week. How in the world has she been able to stay round for so long?! I’m surprised that Simon didn’t use the word painful, ’cause it really was!
Megan: My fans are still there..
Me: Yeah, the once over at Vote for the Worst.

Noop-Dog! I liked Anoop this week. I don’t think it was as great as last week, but it was still very good. A little boring, but note even near as boring as some of the others – actually, mote beautiful then boring – so yay Anoop!

Eeee. Sarver was so cute in the pink shirt. *dies* He really looked great tonight. I disagree with the judges completely! I loved Michael’s performance and it was the first one of the night that I really didn’t want to end. Not his best by any means, but it was still one of few tonight where I really looked at him and listened to the song, and not spent over half the performance thinking about something else and searching for Saula moments.

Really didn’t like Lil tonight. Booo! It was like she was trying to be someone she’s not. Kind of like she thought this was her week and she was as good as the original ladies from the Motown era. She wasn’t even near as amazing as them. I agreed with Randy’s and Kara’s comments. BTW, was Kara stealing Paula’s lines? lol.

Wow. Adam was, once again, amazing (!), but what was with the hair? lamo.

Are they trying to get rid of Danny? They keep putting him after Adam, which keeps making him great, but not as great as the performance before. Oh well, I guess he wouldn’t be any better if there were a few performances between them either, but at least he’d stand out more. Whatever, he did great and I loved that he danced with the background singers. :P

I like Allison, but this was not my favorite performance from her. It was good, not great, imo. Her “cockiness” kinda reminds me of Kelly Clarkson (= a good thing!). “One of the dopest singers”? lol Randy! :P

My bottom 3:
Megan
Lil
Scott

V Saula/Judges stuff V

I really love the presentation of the judges this season. New Saula hand-hold every week! This week was definitely best so far.

The crayons and coloring books were hilarious! I also love Ryan’s response to Paula when she said that had something for Simon and then bent down to get it: “We’re not allowed to show that.” lmao.

Hmm, apparently Simon doesn’t want Paula to tell the world what’s under her skirt. lol.

Eh, so during Megan’s performance there was a Saula moment that just blew me away. Paula putting her hands on Simon’s cheeks with perfect timing to the word love.
“For once I can say, this is mine you can’t take it. As long as I know I have [hands on] love I can make it [hands off].”
Hmm… They are both “single” this year yá know. ;)

I can’t believe Simon actually drew a mustache on Paula’s face. LMAO! That was hilarious.
