The Salt in the Wound

When a petrified human body is found buried in a mound of salt in a city de-icing truck, Booth and Brennan are on the case. They discover the victim, Ashley, was a 16-year-old high school volleyball player who had been missing for three weeks. When the team discovers Ashley was pregnant at the time of her death, they are shocked to find that nearly half of her volleyball team is either pregnant or already has a baby, and the press reports an alleged “pregnancy pact.” Booth and Brennan must delve through the complex web of relationships to find a motive for Ashley’s murder. Meanwhile, when Angela and Roxie discuss adopting a dog, they must confront larger issues in their relationship in “The Salt in the Wounds” episode of BONES airing Thursday, March 19 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (BON-411) (TV-14 D, S)

Guest Cast: Pej Vehdat as Arastoo Vaziri; Nichole Hiltz as Roxie Lyon; Monique Coleman as Becca Hedgepeth; Kayla Ewell as Alyssa Howland; Andrew Borba as Bob Clark; Amy Pietz as Ellen Clark; Ramon De Ocampo as Dr. Sean Fitts; Brando Eaton as Rory Davis; Spencer Breslin as Clinton Gilmour; Matt Bushell as Coach Adam Hawthorne; Heidi Sulzman as Darlene; Earnestine Phillips as Tess; Lu Parker as News Reporter

Sorry this took so long to get up.

Ok, first of, how hilarious was Arastoo Vaziri’s (the Muslim intern’s) sound effects?! lmao. *bonk*

Brennan and Angela talking about relationships was really interesting. It was nice see them hanging out outside of work. We don’t get enough of that imo. You could really tell how far Brennan’s come when it comes to understanding people and their emotions, since the first season. Angela and Booth are doing a great job with her. :D Although, it was fun to see how worried Angela got over how she deals with stuff like this because of the fact that Brennan kind of understood. lol.

The competition between bones and flesh is back! Brennan and Cam are hilarious when they compete in the lab. I think we need more of this. I want one of them to shout “Queen of the Lab” one day. :P Cam would definitely take that position in this episode!

Booth was so amazing in the last scene (= the writers and David did a really great job!). I love how they brought Brennan into the scene as well. I think small things like that is what’s going to make the last episodes this season make more sense (read the spoilers I’ve posted if you want to know what that meant. :P ) Although, I do think we needed a B/B hug at the end of the scene before, when he left to go to the diner. Or at least a hand on her back or something. Just some small thing to take away some of the tension. It’s killing me!

No Bones next week because the president will do a speech or something on Tuesday, meaning that American Idol needs to have the  results show when Bones is usually on. The episode they were supposed to air then was “The Doctor in the Den”. This episode will air on April 2 instead, so now they’re having problems fixing the schedule. :/ Read more about that in my earlier post: Bones season finale might not air! Global (Canada) still has “The Doctor in the Den” listed as being aired next week though. We’ll see what happens I guess. Oh, and BTW, Global changed their schedule so Bones airs on Thursday nights at 8pm in Canada too. However, they’ve also listed “The Doctor in the Den” as airing Wednesday April 1st, so it’s all really confusing ATM. I actually think they’re going to keep airing Bones on Wednesdays, and that they just haven’t decided on what to air instead of Bones next week, so they haven’t updated that part of the schedule. *shrugs*

Anyway, I’ll keep you updated on these last minute schedule changes, and as soon as I get more information about the season finale I’ll let you know.
